He addressed the oath taking ceremony of Agrarian Society of the Faculty of Agriculture as chief guest. Dean Faculty Agriculture Dr Asif Tanvir, Director Students Affair Dr Shahbaz Talib, Chief Hall Warden Dr Amjad Aulak, newly elected president of Agrarian Society Muhammad Irfan and secretary Ahmad Mukhrtar also spoke on the occasion. He stressed upon students to develop a strong friendship with books that will enable them to get prosperity. . He added the book reading culture was also on the decline in the society that was an area of serious concern. He added that the literary activities need to be paced up in the country so that different social taboos could be fought.

He said that we have to prepare the manpower able to fight the challenges of the modern era and to compete with the rest of the world. He said that the country was achieved after great sacrifices. Now, it is our duty to move the country to the horizon of development. He added that in the modern era, only knowledge based economies are flourishing. He said that we have to put our focus on trainings of technicians, field assistances etc for a better tomorrow.
