The University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) on Sunday held first entrance test for the admission to UAF undergraduate programs academic year 2018-19 .
Registrar Muhammad Hussain flanked by Convener Admission Committee Dr Shahbaz Talib Sahi, Controller Examination Dr Abdul Wahid, Director Gradaute Studies Dr Haq Nawaz, Director Admission Tariq Gill and UAF Principal Officer Public Relations and Publications Dr Jalal Arif inspected the arrangements and directed officer concerned to ensure the foolproof measures. Registrar Muhammad Hussain said that the centers are established in 13 cities including Faisalabad, Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, Lahore, Layyah, Multan, Rahim Yar Khan, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Toba Tek Singh, Vehari, Burewala and Depalpur (Okara). Convener Admission Committee Dr Shabaz Talib Sahi said that many as 11,500 applicants appeared in the first entry test in the 13 cities. He said that at the main campus in Faisalabad, as many as 6800 students appeared in the test whereas remaining students appeared in the rest of centers. He said that all procedure was carried out in a transparent manner based on modern and state-of-the-art computerized mechanism. Dr Jalal Arif said that the University offers more than 170 undergraduate and postgraduates programs and has produced more than 80,000 gradates so far. He said the applicants of the test were provided modern facilities. The second entry test for those students, who did not appear in the test, failed or want to improve, will be held in July.
