The Xingjian Agriculture University, University of Agriculture Faisalabad and Government College Women University Faisalabad on Friday inked a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate in the field of language, education and research.
The MoU was inked by XAU Vice President Prof Li Baocheng UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan and GCWUF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Naureen Aziz at a ceremony held at the UAF syndicate Room. The UAF is housing a Chinese Confucius Institute which is offering the Chinese language and cooking courses. The Chinese language will also be kicked off at the GCWUF. Prof Li Baocheng said that China considers Pakistan as its brother and both countries were enjoying deep-rooted ties. He hoped that MoU will open up new avenue of Pakistan China Educational Cooperation to get benefit from each other experiences. He said that the collaboration would help fight the different challenges and make the development. Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan said China-Pakistan were enjoying time-tested and deepened ties that are more strengthened with the help of China Pakistan Economic Corridor. He lauded that Chinese universities were proving their mettle globally in the different field. Dr Naureen Aziz said that China has proved his mettle across the globe. She said that the opportunity to learn Chinese language will help our students to study in China and learn their experience. It will also further strengthen the collaboration.
