The Rhino Research Group and the University of Agriculture Faisalabad have inked an Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate in seed research and development

The MoU was duly inked by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan and Rhino Research Group Executive Director Executive John Van Asbrouck at the Syndicate Room, UAF. It was decided that the both parties will collaborate in various aspects of linked to the specific needs of the Pakistan seed industry such as training, research, develop protocol and strategy programs.
Both parties will nominate focal person to manage, support and guide various activities and this team will regularly inform both parties on the progress made.
The MoU will promote the seed technologies to the public and private sector by workshops, seminars, demonstration and information dissemination campaign. Director External Linkage Dr Rasheed Ahmad, Center for Advanced studies Chief of Party Dr Bashir Ahmad, Dr Hafeez Sadaqat and Dr Irfan Afzal also attended the meeting.
