Kastamonu University Turkey and the University of Agriculture Faisalabad will collaborate in academia and research . This was discussed at the concluding session of international conference on forestry and environment.
Addressing on the occasion, the Turkish University Rector Dr Seyit Aydin said the faculty and students program would be kicked off between the both institutions to get benefit from each other experiences. He said that there are many areas in the agriculture and environmental sciences in which collaborated work be initiated. He said that the both countries are enjoying the good relations based on the brotherhood. He said they consider Pakistani as their brothers. Earlier, UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan said that both countries were enjoying excellent ties. UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar A Khan said that UAF was partnered with Turkey in many projects and working on the research and poverty alleviation programmes. He said that Pakistan and Turkey are enjoying excellent ties. He also said that the deforestation is bringing losses to our country that must be ended. Dean Dr Amjad Aulak that forest played a pivotal role in the moderation of climate. He said that collaborated works would bring tangible results. Dr Tahir Siddique also spoke on the occasion.
