The University of Agriculture Faisalabad on Friday evening remained a center of attraction of theatre drama lovers when it opened a drama “ Bala King” at its Iqbal Auditorium.
The theatre was brought by Ajoka theatre and UAF Senior Tutor Office. The play is written by Shahid Nadeem, and directed by Madeeha Gauhar. The UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan along with hundreds of people watched the theater. Talking to the participants, he said that the UAF is used to hold such forum in order to sharpen the God-given skills of the students. He said that the country was blessed with the tremendous talents, there is the need to tap it with education and providing them opportunity to exhibit their potential. The play presented the story of politicians in Germany and Europe in 1940s. The story was themed around a politician Hitler who after becoming a powerful exploited the people. Hitler has been replaced with ‘Bala Pehalwan’ in the play. ‘He later changes his name and become Bala King after winning the elections. His wish is to control people’s minds.
