The University of Agriculture Faisalabad team has secured the second position in the International Photography Contest arranged by Japan International Cooperation Agency.
In this regard, the JICA representative Hiromu Inoue called on UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan. The team which has secured 2nd position comprised Ammar Tufail, President UAF Media Club and Muhammad Ali under the banner of Senior Tutor Office. Hiromu Inoue said such competition provides a platform to the students to exhibit their God-given skills. He said that JICA was making all out efforts to assist Pakistan. He said that JICA had been providing assistance in three focus areas including ensuring human security and human development; improving the economic base, and stable, balanced development.
Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan said that such competition was imperative for showcasing the inner abilities of the students. He said that the JICA was taking tangible steps for the development in Pakistan. He said that JICA was the friend of the university and provide an assistance for the development of the UAF. Senior Tutor Prof Dr Athar Javed said that the UAF was taking all possible steps to refurbish the skills of the students.
