It was decided at the UAF Dean Committee meeting presided over by UAF Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan. He said that keeping the increasing enrolment in view, the UAF will shift its some other degree programs at the PARS. He said that the UAF also mapped out a comprehensive plan to develop the modern agricultural farms at the PARS in order to demonstrate before the farming community. He said that a flawless human resource system would be developed at the UAF to expedite the pace of the uplift work for the sector. He added that to address the problems of the students, a state of the art, students’ facilitations center had been set up which is equipped with the modern facilities. He said that quality food on low rates for the students will be ensured. He said that the university administration believes in harmony. He added that the university was adopting a system under which digitalized administration and office work would be ensured to minimize the task execution time. He urged the agricultural scientists to develop high yielding seeds and help the farming community adopt the latest agricultural tools for combating food security. He also directed them to work on wheat to boost up productivity as the country faced the worst wheat crises this year. He said that we have to educate the farming community about the modern tools that will not only make agriculture a profitable profession but also fight the food security.
