The student internship program at the National Institute of Food Science & Technology is meant for capacity building in the domains of food technology and human nutrition. The students are sent to various food industries and hospitals for practical exposure for a duration of 3-4 months followed by intensive evaluation through comprehensive examination, external evaluation and in-depth oral examination.
