MEDIA COVERAGE

The Information and Pictorial Publicity Session arranges media coverage of all the special events held at the University and subsequently other events as well. All the electronic media channels and international and national press were facilitated about such events in a way of providing them excellent residential facilities and other relevant support. Information and Pictorial Publicity Section of the PRP Department also issues handouts to both electronic and print media and attains excellent coverage.

Moreover, the IPPS invites different TV channels to make documentaries and conduct talk shows, quiz competitions and interviews of students, researchers and renowned scientists of the country.

CAMPUS NEWS

The IPPS publishes "Campus News" at campus level to highlight the important news of various departments and activities taking place at the campus such as PhD thesis/synopsis defence, tender notices, auctions and other University advertisements. It is also a source of information for the teaching community as well as the students for their areas of interest.

It is published once in a week. Whereas the Special Campus is also arranged to highlight the events of the great  importance.

BROCHURES/ BANNERS

The Department publishes brochures and banners on every significant event. This work gets final compilation at University Press, while technical assistance in the shape of designing, photography and information is provided by the Information and Pictorial Publicity Section.

  NEWSLETTER

The publication of the University Newsletter is a significant and pleasant feature of the PRP. The Newsletter is being sent to all universities of national repute, departments relating to agriculture and livestock sectors and to the electronic and print media offices. The purpose of the University Newsletter is to highlight the activities of students, researchers and different departments of the University.

ANNUAL REPORT

The Department of PRP compiles and publishes Annual Report every year. The Annual Report is published in lines with the directives and guidelines of the worthy Chancellor/Governor of the Punjab. All the faculties, directorates and departments provide their annual activities report to the PRP department. As per pervious practice, the Worthy Vice Chancellor constitutes a committee for collecting, editing, composing, designing and publishing the annual report for the year under consideration.

AUDIO-VISUAL LAB EQUIPMENT

To meet the emerging challenges of ever-new technology and make an effective use of the media in bringing forward a pleasant and soft image of the University, an audio visual lab has been established at the PRP department for preparing video documentaries regarding various activities taking place at the Campus in the field of research, academic, curricular, co-curricular activities and other ongoing research projects funded by the Higher Education Commission and other government and non-government funding agencies.

KISHT-E-NAU

The Department of PRP has been facilitating the Directorate of Students' Affairs for the printing of the University student's magazine "Kisht-e-Nau" for the last many years. The department of extends technical assistance to the Editorial Board as well as to the DSA office. In this regard, a photographer from the PRP department has been deputed for the purpose.

Event Management

The Department is used to organize different events of national interests. The events are meant to create the awareness and address the different challenges confronting the agricultural, economic social sectors. The Department looks after all activities of the seminar, conferences and special lectures etc. 

Protocol Duties

The Department performs the protocol duties of high level delegations who visit the varsity. The department staff remains busy in providing the services ranging from the receiving at varsity to the visit of different departments.     

Documentaries

The Department develops the documentaries on the different issues and the role of the university. It is aimed at creating the awareness among the masses. The documentaries highlight the various aspects of an issue or challenge.

Prospectus/Admission Guidelines

The Department develops the prospectors  of the undergraduate and post graduate level. The Department staff after collecting the information designs and get printed the prospectus in order to facilitate new comers about rules, degree programs and other necessary information.
