In the entire world teacher has a significant and dignifying role to polish the youth as a vibrant nation. He is not only a candle bearer but a candle himself to identify path-way towards wisdom. This was stated by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashfaq, Dean Faculty of Agriculture and Acting Vice Chancellor UAF while addressing the closing ceremony of “7-Day Refresher Course for Laboratory High School Teachers” organized by Division of Education & Extension on Thursday morning. Dr. Ashfaq maintained that refresher courses usually enhance the capacity of the teachers enabling them to cope with the emerging challenges of their respective domains. He urged the teachers to take interest in following up the course contents thereby to equip their students with the modern tools and techniques. Earlier, Director Division of Education and Extension, Prof. Dr. Tanvir Ali apprised the chief guest that during the week long refresher course, the teachers refreshed them in their subjects and hoped that they would play their role as beacon of change in the society. Headmistress Mrs Tasneem Zubair also spoke on the occasion and conducted the program.
