University of Agriculture, Faisalabad has strength of 2900 Administrative and Field Staff in which 837 workers belong to lower staff which are striving hard to achieve the highest landmark for their respective institution. This was stated by the Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan, Vice Chancellor while addressing the “Workers Gathering” at Iqbal Auditorium as a Chief Guest here on Thursday. Lauding the Role of lower staff he added that due to their un-tire efforts UAF has been placed on top position amongst Public Sector Universities of the Country. Dr. Iqrar A. Khan while announcing the incentive package for the workers disclosed that Medical allowance would be enhanced in accordance with the provision of Punjab Employees Benefit Rules.

Dr. Khan told the Workers that twenty houses are being build for them while more residential facilities would also be extended in next financial year. He maintained that in order to provide religious autonomy as defined by Pakistani constitution a Church would also be constructed for Christian community of the Campus. He also announced the reform package comprising Health, Education and Old Age Benefits for the Workers.
Registrar, Ch. Muhammad Hussain assured the audience that all the announced initiatives would be materialized with immediate effect. He also thanked the guests and workers for rendering their services in order to obtain the destination of excellence. Dr. Muhammad Jalal Arif, Principal Officer Public Relations & Publications earlier highlighting the motives and initiatives of University leadership said that this institution has been stepping forward to fulfill the requirements of harmonized educational and research outcomes in the shape of Internationalization. He also highlighted the role Public Relations Department for community services.
A large number of University Workers and Administrative Staff attended the ceremony.
