The University of Agriculture has organised Naat and Quran reciting competition at the Old Senate Hall. Maulana Mufti Gul Raza Athari was the chief guest on the occasion. The Islam is a way of life and peace, Mufti Gul Raza said. He stressed the need to take more steps to spread the teachings of Islam among youth. Quraat and Naat Club In-charge Muhammad Azeem Khan lauded the efforts of the University for organising the event.

Hafiz Irfan Sadiq clinched the first position while Hafiz Muhammad Hasham stood second and Hafiz Muhammad Sohail got the third position in Quran reciting completion. Muhammad Sohail won the Naat competition while Sohail Ahmed and Waqar Ahmed stood second and third respectively.
