Professor Dr Tanvir Ali has assumed the charge of the office of Director, Division of Education and Extension, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad for the period of three years after the approval of the University Syndicate. Dr Tanvir Ali as a scientist has supervised eleven PhD scholars and 30 MSc (honours) students. He is also a writer of 40 research papers published in national and foreign journals. He is also a recipient of the Star International Award 2003 by South Asian Publications. Dr Tanvir Ali has been serving as Director Advanced Studies for three years. The HEC nominated him convener of national curricular review committee for Agricultural Extension as a token of his professional excellence. He is striving for initiation of Agri-Journalism degree programme at UAF.
