Department of Public Relations and Publications - Vice Chancellor UAF Prof. Dr. Iqrar A. Khan addresses the journalists at Circuit House of the University - November 03, 2009

University of Agriculture, Faisalabad was striving for attaining vertical heights in research and education in this regard appointments of teaching community were being made purely on merit keeping in view the golden future aspect in the field of livestock and agriculture. This was stated by UAF Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan while delivering his presidential address to the newly appointed lecturers and assistant professors at New Senate Hall on Tuesday.



Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan urged the teaching community to work hard and enhance their capabilities by adopting highest teaching standards. He stressed the need for higher studies from abroad through University funded programs. Dr. Khan also said that merit makes the teacher a proud and confident personality which may convert in better results through rendering extra ordinary efforts.

Vice Chancellor congratulated new Faculty and said that a long destination was ahead of them which could never be met without putting extra hard work on the frontier of knowledge. Dr. Iqrar asked the young faculty to get their research work published in renowned research journals of International repute. He maintained that Universities were caterpillar for change, and our agricultural sector was desired change in innovative approaches.

Registrar, UAF Ch. Muhammad Hussain and Principal Officer, Public Relations & Publications Dr. Muhammad Jalal Arif also spoke on the occasion. Vice Chancellor Dr. Iqrar A. Khan answered the Questions from the newly appointed teaching community. Teachers from Sub-Campuses Dera Ghazi Khan, Toba Tek Singh and Depalpur also attended the ceremony.
