UAF Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan has constituted a three member inquiry committee headed by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Inyat Khan, Chairman Math & Stat Department to investigate the incident occurred during B.Com examination at the centre of Laboratory High School and report the matter within ten days. The other members of the committee are Prof. Dr. Anwar-ul-Hassan Director Institute of Soil & Environment Sciences, and Prof. Dr. Zafar Iqbal Qureshi Director Students’ Affairs on Saturday afternoon.

The committee will examine the contents of examinations paper V/S syllabus, management of the examination center, and suggest remedy/relief to the students if any. It is worth mentioning that UAF has closed the chapter of its affiliations to the private colleges and its final sessions are completing their destination gradually. On 11th July, the students of various private colleges took part the ongoing examinations process being held at Laboratory High School UAF, Jhang, Gujranawala, and Rawalpindi.

There was not a single complaint registered from any other examination center from various pars of the province but at UAF center more than 40 students were availing their last chance in Math & Stat paper. After receiving question paper, some students disrupted the process and by enchanting slogans against UAF administration and snatched the answer sheets from other candidates. Resultantly, the administration canceled the paper and some students staged protest. During the meeting with UAF Vice Chancellor students were assured their cooperation regarding culmination of an impartial inquiry. The three member committee has started its proceedings and will issue the notices to the concerned parties.
