UAF has entered in the phase of Internationalization as various International Universities and institutions are joining this Institution for viable collaborative research and educational projects this was stated by the Vice Chancellor UAF Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan while addressing the Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony of various clubs under auspices of Principal Officer Students Affairs at Old Senate Hall here on Thursday.

He added that German, American, French, British and Dutch Universities have agreed upon mutual cooperation in the field of Agricultural and Scientific mutual research in order to strengthen the ties with UAF. He maintained that in the days to come, UAF will fetch more financial and professional assistance from various International and National funding agencies regarding innovative approaches at the Campus.

Dr. Iqrar Khan urged the students to enhance their social skills by taking part in various co-curricular activities through Office of the Senior Tutor which is responsible for polishing the talent and creativity of the student community. Dr. Khan added that UAF has been producing socially and morally well groomed man-power to the employers due to its high standard character building initiatives. He lauded the efforts of Public Relations & Publications Department for boosting the soft image of the University in Print and electronic Media.

Prof. Dr. Iftikhar Ahmad Khan, Dean Faculty of Agriculture and Principal Officer of Students Affairs while presenting welcome address said that the Office of the PO Students Affairs is providing a solid plate-form to the students for the enhancement of their inner capabilities. He maintained that Qiraa’t & Naa’t Club, Quiz Club, Society of Agricultural Writers, Art and Literary Society and Debating Clubs are providing facilities to the talented students to express their competitiveness.

The Chief Guest, Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan distributed the Prizes, Medals, Mementoes and Shields among the prize winners of various contests taken place in last year. A large number of students and faculty members as well as administrative staff attended the Ceremony.
