My expertise includes production of biofuel using crop residue, industrial effluents/wastes and biomass. Biofuel includes biodiesel, bioethanol, biobutanol, hydrogen gas, biogas, syngas through biomass gasification. Being Ph.D in Applied Biosciences and Biotechnology from Mie University Japan, I have experience of working and supervising in the fields of enzyme/proteins purification, over expression of proteins/gene cloning through molecular biology, and biochemical techniques to produce biofuel from different feedstock. Algae cultivation for biofuel, biomolecules, and hydrogen production is also in the scope. I was working as researcher/consultant with international organizations including Mizusawa Chemicals Japan to produce biodiesel from oily wastes, , AlgaeTech Malaysia to cultivate algae in Photobioreactor for biodiesel and biomolecules, UNIDO for capacity building at industrial level in biomass gasification, World Bank to design Biomass Atlas of Pakistan which is available on line to estimate availability of biomass in different parts of Pakistan and investment purposes (http://aedb.org/index.php/component/judownload/15-bioenergy-reports/87-biomass-atlas-of-pakistan?Itemid=101 ).
