Applications are invited from students who want to appear for GRE (G.) and GRE (Subject) type test for admission to postgraduate degree programme for Winter Session 2010-11. The candidates may apply for the entry test on prescribed forms available from the office of the Director, Advanced Studies OR downloaded from the University website www.uaf.edu.pk. along with Bank Draft OR Bank Receipt of Rs. 700/- from the National Bank of Pakistan / Habib Bank, University of Agriculture, branch Faisalabad, drawn in favour of Treasurer, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. The candidates must bring their original computerized I.D. cards at the time of test. The test schedule will be as under:    

Venue: Examination Hall, Laboratory High School (Boys), University of Agriculture, Faisalabad*

Time: (09.00 a.m. to 11.a.m.)

* Test is an eligibility criteria and not a guarantee for admission.

Note: Those students who have already qualified GAT (G) for M.Sc. (Hons.) / M.Phil/M.S. or GRE (subject) for Ph.D. arranged by NTS need not to apply, however the validity of the test will be for two years. (Passing score for GRE(G.) is 60% & for (Subject) 70%)

Complete applications in all respect must reach in the office of the Director Advanced Studies upto 06-08-2010 by 3.00 p.m. incomplete applications and those received late will not be entertained.

National Institute of Food Science & Technology (NIFSAT) at University of Agriculture, Faisalabad (UAF) is a pioneer and mother institution in the country in the domain of food science & technology. The laboratories of the Institute are well equipped with modern equipments including HPLC, GC-MS, electrophoresis apparatus, atomic absorption spectrophotometer, FTIR, flame photometer, automatic complete milk analyzer, milk centrifuge machine, complete microbial analysis apparatus, referactometers, viscometer, fermentor, Farinograph, amylograph, Mixograph, falling no. apparatus etc. to carry out various types of food analysis. The Institute intends to offer her services on commercial basis for various types of food analysis.
