FOOD RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
The Institute is running a Semi-Commercial Food-Sale Project since 1995. The project is imparting practical training to the students and is also providing handsome profit to the University. The project is being run through a management committee. Presently Dr. Imran Pasha, Assistant Professor, is working as Project Officer. This project comprises of two units.
Bakery Section
In these section different bakery products like cakes, cookies, muffins, pizzas and patties are prepared for sale to the University staff and students. Dr. Aamir Shehzad, Assistant Professor, is working as Production Incharge in this section.
Fruit and Vegetable Section
Nutritious fruit and vegetable products such as canned products, jams, jellies, chutnies, pickles, syrups and squashes of excellent taste and quality are prepared and offered for sale at low price. Dr. Moazzam Rafiq Khan, Assistant Professor, is the Production Incharge in this Section. |
