Prof. Dr. Shazia Ramzan assumed the charge of Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad in 2024. Prior to this, since 2011, she has been serving as the chairperson of the Department of Islamic Studies. She received her PhD in Islamic Studies from the University of the Punjab, Lahore, in 2011, and later pursued a Postdoctoral fellowship in the same field at the University of Punjab, Lahore, in 2023. She has contributed to the University of Agriculture Faisalabad in the capacity of a syndicate member and is currently involved with several advisory boards. Additionally, she is a member of the Curriculum Revision Committee and, drawing on her strong administrative skills, has been acting as the Hostel Superintendent. Furthermore, she has been providing her advisory/editorial services to various literary platforms within the university, including Kashat-E-Nau and Zarai Digest.

Likewise, she serves on the editorial boards of several national and international journals. At present, she is offering advisory services to prominent journals in her field, including “THE SCHOLAR Islamic Academic Research Journal” and “MAARIF ISLAMIA” at the University of Karachi. Furthermore, she acts as a reviewer for scholarly research articles and is the member of the editorial board for “The International Journal of Scientific Footprints” at the University of Gujrat, as well as the “Journal of Religion Studies” at the University of Chitral. She also undertook the evaluation of several M.Phil. and Ph.D. dissertations at the University of Okara, University of Management and Technology Lahore, Government College for Women University Faisalabad, and the National College of Business Administration & Economics, Faisalabad Campus.

With a portfolio of more than 30 research publications, she has also contributed to the authorship of numerous books that are included in the curriculum for Intermediate and graduate programs. Her work also includes the book Islami Nizam-e-Zindagi, produced under a multi-author project at UAF. Additionally, she has authored over 100 articles for various national newspapers. In conjunction with her scholarly and administrative roles, she hosts radio programs at Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation Faisalabad, FM 93 and FM 100.4, where she regularly airs a show entitled "Qisa-Ul-Ambia". She has also presented a number of lectures at district-level platforms on important subjects such as the ‘Law of Inheritance under the Muslim Family Law Ordinance,’ ‘Land Rights in Islam,’ and the ‘Revenue Administration during the Muslim Rule’. Her contributions have garnered recognition and admiration from numerous national and international institutions.
