Faculty of Agriculture offers B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture at undergraduate level. It is a four years bachelor degree program in semester system. The enrolment in a year is made for the two, winter and spring semesters. The students with deficiency courses or failed, for any reason, optionally may enroll summer semester. The fresh admissions are made in winter semester. The admissions are opened for both the genders i.e. males as well as females. The admissions are made totally on merit however the faculty for the rationale of representation from all over Pakistan has reserved some seats for various districts. These district seats are divided into rural and urban localities. The number of these seats depends upon the population size of a particular district.
The students after F.Sc. (Pre-Agriculture, Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering) submit their applications to the office of the Dean wherein these are sorted according to merit. The online list of successful candidates is displayed thrice publicly on the faculty notice boards giving chance to left overs. The merit of female candidates is made among themselves and they are not considered in district quota. The Dean Office publicly notifies the dates of enrolments and advisory team constituted by the Dean help and guide students seeking fresh admissions in a friendly atmosphere. The advisory team is helped by the members of the Agrarian society and team of scouts in delivering its services. The class formation is made by the Dean Office just after the admissions and the list of class formation is displayed. All the students are divided into thirteen morning and four evening sections. The Agrarian Society with the help of faculty and university administration arranges orientation program to get the freshly admitted students familiar with the university buildings and atmosphere. The students for the first four semesters study foundation courses and after fourth semester opt for the major field of study from following fifteen major subjects.

The allotment of the major field of study is made crystal clear and the criterion is only CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) and the students' option. Before their option Agrarian Society with the help of faculty and university administration arranges a conference for the introduction of each major subject. The students interact with the Chairman/Director of any discipline for the available facilities, faculty, staff and job opportunities. The students take their specialized courses during next three semesters (5-7). The final semester (8th) is completely reserved for internship programme for their exposure to field and industry. The degree B.Sc.(Hons.)Agri. which is equivalent to M.Sc. in any field of basic sciences is conferred after successful completion of eight semesters. The agriculture graduates have many options for job. The graduates are serving in government research and development organizations, private companies or may start their own farming business.
