Endowment Fund Secretariat (EFS) invites applications/concept papers for proposals from UAF and other Private and public sector organizations having good national/international repute with an established administrative and financial system, under its following components:

1. Faculty Development (for UAF only)
   (short term trainings abroad (4 months), travel grants to present papersin conferences/symposia/workshops/trainings abroad, organizing trainings/workshops/ conferences/seminars aimed at development of faculty, and supporting administrative and technical staff),

2. Technology Transfer
1. Outreach projects
2. Demonstration projects (for UAF only)
   
   
3. Product Commercialization

Concept papers on technology transfer should be aimed at enhancing agricultural/livestock production through sharing of skills, knowledge, technologies, etc. among the stakeholders. Concept papers on product commercialization should be aimed at commercialization of commodities, products, processes, methods, technologies, formula, composition, etc., and ideas leading to product development. Concept papers shall be evaluated by the experts as to their technical strength, deliverability to bring a qualitative and/or quantitative change and budgetary justifications. Authors of the approved concept papers shall have to submit the detailed proposals on prescribed forms within stipulated time for scrutiny/approval by the Relevant Experts, Technical Advisory Committee and Board of Directors of EFS. Four hard copies along with a soft copy of the concept papers, complete in all respects, should be submitted through proper channel to the Executive Director, Endowment Fund Secretariat, UAF. The proposals will be served on first come first basis during the financial year 2009-10. The maximum duration of the project should not exceed three years. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
