The swift and perpetuate transitions in diversified realms of life necessitate the use of various communication media to pace with the ever-changing world. In this context, agricultural sector is no exception. Agricultural extension has been striving for dissemination of latest agri. information to the farming community and getting feedback about their problems as well. For keeping the farmers updated about the latest and sophisticated agri. technologies, mass media can play a vital role particularly electronic media. So, my research spheres encompass the various communication modalities in general and electronic media in particular. In the future scenario, exploring various avenues for effective use of media for the effective transfer of agri. technologies will be the real target.

Research Intersts: Agricultural production and rural livelihood are two interlinked phenomena which have many implications for sustainable development of any country. Both are dependent on broader policy options adopted by the local and national governments. As the agricultural productivity is mainly concentrated in rural areas, therefore, the focus any policy should be the uplift of rural communities through equitable distribution of income, easy access to health, education and proper security along with infrastructural development. My interests in terms of research are focused to the policy implications of government intervention in agriculture sector and the rural development along with food security and income distribution. It also includes the efficiency in agricultural production and the effects of input mix on crop and livestock productivity.
Research Intersts: Thirst of all future agricultural research policies is to improve the agricultural productivity together with the sustainability of natural resources. This allows achieving the dual objective of the availability of food for the additional population on one hand and of the maintenance of the utility for future generation at least to the current level of satisfaction on the other hand. Among the natural resources, soil, water and air are the most crucial factors within the agricultural domain. Hence, within the focus agenda of our Agriculture University, my research interests are to conduct the economic evaluation of different technologies being introduced within the agriculture sector and particularly to evaluate the impacts of these technologies on the environment, natural resources, consumers and producers.
Research Intersts: My research interest focuses on water issues such as surface water supplies, canal scheduling and water pricing in the central Punjab. The irrigation water was becoming more in institutional bottlenecks were further acerbating the supply demand situation of this vital resource in addition water input was not prices which leads to misallocation and irrational use of this input in view of the competing demand and looming scarcity of irrigation water, it seems imperative to assess the supply demand situation, temporal water allocation and economic value of water to better manage the depleting and scarce water resource in the country.

Research Intersts: Worldwide ICTs have played a revolution in all arenas of life (education, research and health) including agriculture and livestock production. ICTs are also contributing in the social life of rural people. ICTs utilization for teaching is remarkable. One of my areas of interest is role of ICTs in agriculture and livestock sector. I want to do work in this area. My other focus is on gender role in agriculture. What male and female do in this field? What their roles and responsibilities are in rural areas? I am also interested in doing research work in the area of food security. It is a big risk to people residing on the globe. Escalating population with an alarming rate is also a major factor of food insecurity. I want to analyze food security chains, food losses at various levels and marginalized communities of the society who are food insecure. Major target sect of the society is woman; my focus is on their well-being. I have also done work on communication interventions and factors affecting the production gap in agriculture sector. As less production is also a cause of food insecurity. I had analyzed the main factors which affect crop production causing poor yield.
