One-month trainings for Water Management staff during 1981-1986; 284 participants from all over the Pakistan (Punjab: 185, Sindh: 41, NWFP: 31, Baluchistan: 27) One-month trainings for staff under "National Program for the Improvement of Watercourse (Punjab Component)"; twelve training sessions in 2005 and 2006 to train 850 participants. Training of tractor drivers for operation of Laser Unit; 7-11-2005 to 4-03-2006 Training of farmers for operation of Laser Land Leveling; 6-02-2006 to 18-06-2006 Four-day Training by the staff of WMRC and IC Water, CSU-Australia, on "Developing Questionnaires and Conducting Agriculture Base Line Survey" at ACIAR project sites, on November 25-28, 2009. Two-day training workshop on "Water Conservation Techniques" for Agricultural Extension Officers (AEOs) at Water Management Research Center in collaboration with WWF-Pakistan, on December 22-23, 2009 Training of Research Officers regarding flow measurement, etc. under "Project Impact Evaluation Study of NPIW in Pakistan" on Jan 28-31, 2010 Ten-Day training on "On-Farm Water Management" for the staff of project entitled "United States Assistance for Agricultural Development in Baluchistan Border Areas (USAABA)" with financial collaboration of USAID; 22-11-2010 to 01-12-2010. Three-day trainings on "Water Management Technologies" for the staff of different public and private departments related to water management under Watershed Rehabilitation and Improved Irrigation Systems project funded by USDA; four trainings each year (from 2012 to 2016) and about 100 trainees per year. 10-day training on "On-Farm Water Management" for Agricultural Officers from Baluchistan (20 participants) in collaboration with ORIC, held on March 21-30, 2016 at UAF. Six 3-day trainings on "Wheat Bed Planting" for farmers from D.I. Khan and Tank districts of KP, funded by Pakistan Transition Initiative (PTI). Trainings organized during February-May 2016 at WMRC, UAF, with total number of participants as 150. 10-day training on "Water Harvesting" for Agricultural Officers from Baluchistan (20 participants) in collaboration with ORIC, held on April 10-19, 2017 at UAF. 10-day training on "Improved Irrigation System Management" for Agricultural Officers from Baluchistan (20 participants) in collaboration with ORIC, held on April 21-30, 2017 at UAF. 4-day training on "LASER Land Leveling" for Agricultural Officers from Baluchistan (16 participants) in collaboration with ORIC, held on May 02-05, 2017 at UAF.
