Hostels Complex at PARS

The University is a residential institution and a very large number of female and male students reside on campus in separate residential halls located at main and PARS campuses. It facilitates the students to keep in touch with their classmates, library and other on-campus facilities. The boarder students learn the art of housekeeping and participate in different occasional events. The Hall Warden (PARS) works under the supervision of Chief Hall Warden/Principal Officer (Hostels) and is assisted by one Associate Hall Warden and Hall Superintendents. Under the charge of Prof. Dr. Haq Nawaz Bhatti (Hall Warden PARS), the PARS campus keeps an organized structure of five boys hostels—Iqbal Hall, Qasim Hall, Arnic Hall, Erdogan Hall, and Khalid Hall. The office of Hall Warden (PARS) is responsible to provide accommodation to the students at campus and also maintains law and order situation in residential halls. A competent and dedicated team of hostel administration are always at their toe for up keeping the environment of hostel.

Besides provision of basic facilities to students, the hall senate members offer counselling and guidance for their moral integrity and character building. The PARS hostels accommodate male students of both intermediate and bachelor levels. The bachelor level students avail transport facility of UAF for travelling to/from PARS and main campus. A health care centre caters the needs of emergency and local minor ailments. The purpose of this health centre is to provide timely medical aid to the people on campus as well as residing in hostels. Highly qualified and experienced medical staff and ambulance service is available at campus. Hostel management looks after the student meal services through a hostel mess/canteen system. New water filtration plants have been installed in all five hostels to provide safe drinking water. Extended playgrounds next to the hostels help channelizing the energies of youth in healthful sports activities. Vigilant security staff ensures the overall safety of students. The hostels provide chances of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to the hostelites. Physical training, indoor and outdoor games, sports competitions, Mehfil-e-Husan-e-Qiraa’t and Husan-e-Naa’t have been the most regular features of PARS hostels. As part of different activities of Independence Day Celebrations at UAF, all hostels compete on 23rd March in different groups for decoration, cleanliness, development, plantation and record maintenance. Hostel administration engages with students to win a spot and celebrate the event in true spirit.
