The University of Agriculture Faisalabad remained a hub of literary activities on the third day of Fifth Lyallpur Art and Literature Festival that will continue till March 31. It featured naat, speech, dramas, folk songs, essay, web designing, programming, quiz, model united nations, mobile ad development, script writing, musahira, short films, documentaries etc in which 20 universities from the four corners of the country are taking part. As per results in All Pakistan Bilingual Declamation contest, Insha Javed from Dow Medical University Karachi secured the first position while Umme Farwa from Jinnah Sindh Medical University got the second and Ahmad Gulzar from Punjab University stood third. In the English Debate Club, Maria Tahir from University of Faisalabad clinched the first position while Muhammad Khan from GCU Faisalabad got the second and Saad Khan from GCU Lahore got the third position. In the best speaker under 19, Affan Saeeed from Agha Khan College Karachi clinched the first position in the contest. In the Punjabi Takra, Muhammad Usman from GCU Faisalabad, Fatimatuz Zehra from PMC Faisalabad and Hafiza Iqra from University of Sargodha got the first, second and third positions respectively.
